The Role As Assistant Head / Head of Sixth Form, you will: * Lead the strategic and day-to-day operation of the sixth form, driving high standards of teaching, learning, and achievement * Inspire students through high expectations, strong pastoral care, and clear pathways to university, apprenticeships, and employment * Line manage sixth form tutors and collaborate with subject leaders and pastoral teams * Monitor attendance, progress, behaviour, and destinations to ensure successful outcomes for all students * Oversee UCAS applications, careers provision, and enrichment opportunities * Contribute to whole-school leadership as part of the extended senior team What We’re Looking For * A highly effective classroom teacher with experience of teaching post-16 (any subject specialism welcome) * Proven leadership experience, ideally in a sixth form or pastoral capacity * Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative leadership style * A strategic thinker with the ability to inspire students, staff, and parents * Deep commitment to equity, inclusion, and high aspirations for all young people Why Join This School? * Outer London salary (M3 to UPS3) TLR * Key leadership role with autonomy and clear scope for development * A dedicated sixth form centre with excellent resources and facilities * A supportive and visionary leadership team * Culture rooted in kindness, ambition, and opportunity Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children.
