Are you a Design Engineer or similar looking for the opportunity to join a long-standing specialist manufacturing company in the International Quarry and allied industries who can offer in-house mentorship alongside industry and software specific training? On offer is the opportunity to join a company who has built a strong reputation over the last 25 years. They are a leading UK provider of mechanical, structural and engineering solutions across multiple sectors including the recycling, power generation and water treatment industries.
As a Design Engineer, you will need to come from a Structural/Mechanical Design background with the ability to understand Engineering Calculations. You will receive training on specific design software's such as Autodesk Advance Steel and receive mentorship from more senior design engineers to support the delivery of high-quality structural steelwork models and drawings. This role offers a balance between design office-based responsibilities and occasional UK site visits. You will develop accurate 3D models using Autodesk Advance Steel from client data or internal designs and you will produce 2D fabrication and general arrangement drawings from 3D models. You will mentor Junior Design Engineers. This role is suited to a Structural/Mechanical Design Engineer or similar looking for industry specific training and a position that offers direct mentorship and direct progression routes into more senior design positions.
The Role:
* Structural/Mechanical Design Engineer
* Develop accurate 3D models using Autodesk Advance Steel from client data or internal designs
* Produce 2D fabrication and general arrangement drawings from 3D models
* Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm
