Our client is a leading global aerospace manufacturer, is seeking a skilled and experienced Technical Incoming Inspector to join their team in Belfast.
As the Technical Incoming Inspector, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the highest quality standards for this company's products. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Carrying out Inspection, Quality Control and Quality Assurance Functions
- Ensuring product compliance with design specification, customer and approving authority requirements and regulations
- Providing instruction and advice to operators as and when required
- Monitoring the Delegated Operator Scheme
- Working flexibly in groups
- Writing technical reports to highlight drawing, process and tooling anomalies to instigate investigation and corrective action
To be successful in this role, you must have completed a recognised electrical or mechanical apprenticeship and have a minimum of 2 years' relevant post-apprenticeship experience in an electrical aerospace environment or a manufacturing/assembly or tooling environment. Familiarity with quality control requirements, the ability to interpret drawings and specifications, and effective communication skills are essential.
The ideal candidate will also possess a strong knowledge of the company's manufacturing and assembly practices, requirements and standards. An ONC/A levels or equivalent qualifications, as well as experience with 3D metrology, would be an advantage.
This company offers a competitive salary of £31.90 per hour (Umbrella) or £23.84 per hour (PAYE), along with a range of excellent benefits. The Technical Incoming Inspector role is a full-time position working 36 hours per week, with the potential for the contract to be extended beyond the initial 17/11/2026 end date.
