About the Role
A respected supplier within the UK electrical market is recruiting an Internal Sales Manager to oversee and develop its internal sales team. This is a role for someone who enjoys working closely with customers while shaping team performance and supporting commercial initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, coach and support Internal Sales Account Managers
* Agree quarterly targets and KPIs with senior leadership
* Act as the main escalation point for the internal sales function
* Manage your own customer portfolio, producing quotations and handling enquiries
* Identify growth opportunities using CRM and BI tools
* Plan and deliver targeted customer campaigns with the wider sales team
* Review and improve internal sales processes to enhance efficiency
* Ensure accurate order processing and customer data management
* Prepare reports, forecasts, and performance insights
Skills and Experience
* Experience in a senior internal sales or leadership role
* Strong people management and team development skills
* Excellent communication and relationship building abilities
* Commercially focused with a proactive approach to growth
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Confident using CRM or ERP systems, BI tools and MS Office
* GCSEs in Maths and English or equivalent
