A growing investment organisation is expanding its Technology Operations team and is looking to hire a Salesforce Administrator. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop quickly, take on increasing responsibility, and progress their career within a maturing technology function.
This role will be central to bringing Salesforce in-house. You will act as the Salesforce subject matter expert for the business, owning day-to-day administration and support while helping shape how the platform is managed and optimised as the organisation scales.
The role
Reporting to the Technology Operations Manager, you will support business users across Salesforce and provide broader technology support where required. You’ll work closely with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to improve service quality, mature support processes, and support operational and service transition activities.
Key responsibilities
* Own Salesforce administration, user management, access controls, and configuration
* Act as the primary point of contact for Salesforce support, incidents, and escalations
* Triage and resolve Salesforce cases, performing root cause analysis where needed
* Partner with external vendors during the transition to an in-house Salesforce support model
* Support joiner-mover-leaver processes and identity management
* Contribute to ITSM improvements across incident, request, and asset management
* Maintain clear documentation and Salesforce knowledge articles
* Provide general technology support across Microsoft 365, Active Directory, and related platforms
About you
* Hands-on experience administering and supporting Salesforce
* Comfortable acting as a Salesforce SME within a business environment
* Strong communication skills and confidence working with non-technical stakeholders
* Proactive, detail-oriented, and keen to grow into a broader or more senior role
* Experience with ITSM processes and working with third-party vendors is advantageous
