Role Overview
The Procurement Officer will be responsible for sourcing and purchasing materials, goods, and services essential for our manufacturing and construction operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring cost-effective and timely procurement, supplier relationship management, and compliance with company standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
* Source, negotiate, and purchase materials, components, and services in line with company cost, quality, and delivery objectives.
* Maintain and develop supplier relationships to ensure reliable and consistent supply chains.
* Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with production and logistics teams to ensure timely replenishment.
* Process purchase orders, manage procurement documentation, and ensure accuracy in records.
* Evaluate supplier performance and maintain an approved supplier database.
* Collaborate with internal departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure alignment with procurement strategies.
* Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities and procurement efficiencies.
* Ensure compliance with internal policies, legal requirements, and industry regulations.
Essential Criteria
