This is an administrative role which can be fast paced and challenging, requiring skill to handle all contacts with confidence, compassion, patience and professionalism. In return, you will receive support and development from the team and the Trust itself, such as continuing professional development, opportunity to undertake apprenticeships, yearly appraisals etc.
Main duties of the job
The responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
* Answering the telephone, taking messages and processing enquiries.
* To assist with reception duties for Outpatients departments.
* Managing incoming post.
* To provide support with the typing of reports, letters and correspondence when required and to be responsible for the uploading patient information onto Carenotes in a timely manner.

* Good level of general education English and Mathematics grade A-C or equivalent
* Formal Secretarial Training (i.e. RSA or shorthand qualification)
