What you'll be doing
As a Project Engineer you will:
1. Delivery of the Temporary Site Services business strategy and objectives on all projects and outperform on key success measures
2. Support the Project Managers and Pre-Construction Engineer to manage commercial and business risks to achieve targets
3. Understand the relevant commercial terms and conditions for each project.
4. Support the Project Managers and Pre-Construction Engineer to proactively manage customer relationship during delivery, including change and decision making to effectively manage expectations
5. Support the Project Managers in leadership of Zero Harm and drive for continuous improvement across SHEQ
6. Collaborate relentlessly to ensure best opportunities for Temporary Site Services are targeted and that the resources are available and utilised in the most efficient way on each project
7. Show clear and visible leadership and display the right leadership behaviours.
8. Support the Project Managers to develop and support the project team to be successful by talking positively, listening actively and encouraging constantly.
Who we're looking for
You will have the following experience:
9. Strong organisational skills
10. Ability to develop and maintain programmes to ensure all works are planned in accordance with client requirements and TSS processes
11. Working knowledge of IT systems including MS Teams, Excel and Word.
12. Strong People Management skills
13. Commercial awareness with knowledge of both budgetary and financial control.
14. Excellent relationship management skills
15. Ability to work across conflicting interest groups to develop solutions to complex operational and commercial problems.
