SEN Teaching Assistant Coordinator Location: Norwich, Norfolk Sector: SEN Support Job Type: Full Time / Part-time Start Date: Immediate We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant Coordinator in Norwich to join a specialist setting supporting students with autism, communication needs, dyslexia, and anxiety-related barriers to learning. You will be working in a supportive, small-class environment, helping students develop academically, socially, and emotionally while making a meaningful impact on their educational journey. Key Responsibilities Provide tailored support to students both in and out of the classroom Assist with differentiated learning activities to meet individual needs Support the development of communication, social, and independence skills Monitor student progress and liaise with teaching staff and SEN coordinators Promote a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment Support behaviour management strategies in line with school policies Skills & Qualifications GCSE Maths & English (Grade 4/C or above) Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or working towards) Understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures Experience supporting students with SEMH and/or ASD All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.
