You will work as part of a skill mix team, supporting the delivery of integrated, evidence-based services for children and their families. The focus will be on prevention, promotion, early intervention, improving health, and reducing health inequalities.
Using a holistic and sensitive approach, you will support parents with their children's social, emotional, and developmental needs, working in family homes, children's centres, and other community settings in North Somerset.
You will collaborate with families to deliver evidence-based interventions that promote attuned and sensitive parenting, supporting the social, emotional, and developmental needs of children.
The role involves largely autonomous work (lone working is a feature), with supervision available. There will be occasions to access or provide additional support with colleagues.
You will be responsible for planning, delivering, and recording your work, as well as liaising with Health Visitors and other professionals.
This role requires a flexible, warm, and reflective practitioner committed to ongoing professional development to maintain high standards of service.
You will work with communities and services within your locality, including early years settings and children's centres, to build social capital and community networks.
You will embed Sirona's vision of supporting communities socially and economically to address child poverty, reduce inequalities, and add social value.
Applicants must be mobile, visiting multiple locations across a wide area, and hold a valid UK driving licence with access to suitable transport.
