Job Title: Headteacher
Location: The Holden School, Leigh, WN7 4SB
Salary: Up to £80,000 per annum dependent on experience
Hours: Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time Only

We are part of Outcomes First Group and are adopting a 4-Day Working Week (4DWW) trial, aiming to balance wellbeing with full-time pay. This is a leadership role focused on delivering a high-quality education, developing a broad and relevant curriculum, and improving pupil outcomes while prioritising self-esteem and wellbeing.
Responsibilities
* Exercise dynamic leadership of the School and develop the vision for the service, its promotion and continuous improvement.
* Create and maintain a Centre of Excellence in the education of our students.
* Develop a shared vision and strategic plan that inspires pupils, staff and the wider school community.
* Collaborate with other senior managers to provide a complete service and grow the wider services offered by the Centre to increase referrals.
* Lead and deliver safeguarding, pupil outcomes, staff motivation, cost management and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications
* At least three years' experience as a senior leader in a specialist school
* Qualified Teacher Status or Equivalent
* Willingness to extend personal and professional development
* Ability to lead with a clear vision and engage stakeholders

The Holden School is an independent specialist day school for boys and girls aged 5 to 18, in Lancashire, Manchester and surrounding areas. We are a Therapeutic Led, Trauma Informed School providing individualised curriculums supported by our Class Teams, Pastoral Team and therapists. Acorn Education is part of Outcomes First Group and leads in providing specialist education and residential care for vulnerable pupils and young people.
