Installation and Production OperativeHolmfirth + Site Based Work (Up to 50%)£27,000 - £30,000 per annum + Site Premium + Stay Away Allowance + Overtime 1.5x40 Hours per Week, Monday - Thursday 7:30 - 5pm, early finish FridaysRole Type: PermanentStafflex are recruiting on behalf of our client for an Installation & Production Operative to join a specialist business based in Holmfirth.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands-on work and thrives in a role where no two weeks look the same. The successful candidate will split their time between supporting production at the company's West Yorkshire facility and travelling to installation sites across the UK, with occasional overseas travel.This role would suit someone who enjoys working with their hands, being part of a close-knit team, and seeing projects through from manufacture to final installation.Key Duties:Assisting with installation projects across the UK and occasionally overseasSupporting construction, assembly and mechanical fitting activities on sitePreparing materials, tools and equipment for upcoming projectsLoading and unloading vehicles and containersAssisting with production and manufacturing tasks at the Holmfirth facilityMaintaining tools, equipment and work areasSupporting the wider team with general operational tasks as requiredRequirements:We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and practical mindset. Attitude and reliability are just as important as previous experience.You will ideally be:Practical and hands-onPhysically fit and comfortable with manual workHappy working outdoors in varying weather conditionsFlexible with travel and working away from homeReliable, punctual and self-motivatedComfortable working within a small teamKeen to learn and develop new skillsExperience in any of the following would be advantageous:Construction or site workGroundworks or landscapingManufacturing or productionMechanical assemblyPlant, agricultural or machinery operationWhen installation projects are not underway, you will be based in Holmfirth supporting manufacturing and production operations.Site-based work makes up less than 50% of the year, however when working away, assignments can vary in length and may occasionally involve stays that could be multiple weeks at a time.Qualifications such as CSCS, CPCS, NPORS, IPAF, PASMA or First Aid would be beneficial but are not essential.Essential Requirements:Full UK driving licenceAbility to travel across the UK and overseas, sometimes at short noticeAbility to satisfy site access/security clearance requirements where necessaryThis role offers long-term development opportunities, with scope to progress into more senior or supervisory responsibilities over time.
