The Opportunity
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Court of Protection Paralegal to join a highly regarded, specialist Private Client team in Birmingham.
This is a firm that places real emphasis on quality of work and client care, advising individuals and families on complex and often sensitive matters. Their Court of Protection team is a core part of the business and continues to grow, creating the need for an additional hire.
You’ll work closely with experienced lawyers on a broad range of deputyship matters, gaining exposure to high-quality work while playing a genuinely meaningful role in supporting vulnerable clients.
The Role
You’ll be involved in a varied caseload, supporting across:
* Deputyship applications (Property & Financial Affairs and Health & Welfare)
* Ongoing management of deputyship files
* Liaising with clients, families and third parties
* Preparing documentation for the Court of Protection
* Financial administration, reporting and budgeting
* Liaison with the Office of the Public Guardian
* General support to fee earners on active matters
About You
This role would suit a paralegal with experience in Court of Protection or a related Private Client area, who is looking to develop their career in a supportive, specialist environment.
