Our client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm based in North West London, is seeking a detail-oriented Post Completion Assistant to join their busy Conveyancing team.
This is a key role within the department, offering an excellent opportunity for someone with conveyancing experience to further develop their skills in a professional environment that values high standards and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities:
* Submitting SDLT returns and AP1 applications
* Preparing and finalising Stamp Duty Land Tax returns and Land Registry applications
* Managing post-completion formalities, including closing completed files
* Scheduling deeds and reconciling accounts
* Handling the discharge of registered charges
* Conducting legal research
* Producing reports and updates as required
* Managing your own workload efficiently with minimal supervision
Key Requirements:
* Previous experience in conveyancing / post-completion work - essential
* Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced legal environment
* Proactive, organised, and a strong team player
* Familiarity with legal systems and case management software is advantageous
