Job Description
Two client visits are never the same. You will support your clients to live happy, independent lives by providing:
1. Support with personal care and to get dressed - you don't need to be a runway model, but when you help a client pick out their 'feel-good' outfit for the day, you'll feel like a personal stylist.
2. Companionship and trips out the house – you don't need a GCSE in history; instead, you'll have the honour of listening first-hand to a lifetime of treasured memories, and you don't need to waltz like you're on 'Strictly,' but you'll find joy in the simple pleasure of a spontaneous dance with a client during afternoon tea.
3. Preparation and support with meals - you don't need to be a master chef, but if you can brew a cuppa that warms the soul, you're already a hero in our book.
4. Help around the home - you don't need to be Sherlock Holmes, but your knack for finding a client's misplaced glasses will make you feel like a day-saving detective.
Qualifications
So, what's truly essential?
Genuine empathy, oodles of patience, and a hearty sense of humour. Your genuine kindness will transform a lonely afternoon into a brighter day for someone who needs it.
Don't worry if you've never done this before—we'll support you with plenty of training to give you confidence. Plus, with a variety of hours available covering weekdays, evenings, and weekends, we'll work with you to find a schedule that suits both you and our clients.
*We do ask for you to have a car and driving licence due to the nature of the job*
