Job Summary
The Beeches Residential home is a small home based in Armthorpe. We are looking for a reliable and caring Senior Carer who is able to accommodate Senior and Care shifts on Nights. We are looking for a Senior Carer who wants to make a difference by contributing to providing the best care possible at all times for our residents. In this role, you would play a vital role in providing high-quality care to our residents, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a supportive environment.
Duties
* Support residents with personal care tasks, including bathing and dressing.
* Support residents in daily living activities, promoting independence and dignity.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date care plans tailored to individual resident needs.
* Supervise and mentor staff members, providing guidance and support as needed.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
* Participate in training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in senior care practices.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the care home environment.
Experience
* Previous experience in a senior care role or similar position is highly desirable.
* Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience supervising staff or volunteers.
* Strong IT skills for maintaining electronic records and care plans.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with residents and their families effectively.
* A genuine passion for providing high-quality care to seniors is essential.
