Cheshire West and Chester Council is a place where everyone can Thrive – through our core values of Teamwork, Honesty, Respect, Innovation, Value for Money and Empowerment. You will be part of a busy, multidisciplinary Housing Options and Homelessness service, supporting households under the Homelessness Reduction Act 2017 to prevent and relieve homelessness. A key aspect of the role involves working closely with accommodation providers — including private landlords, social housing partners, and supported accommodation services — to build strong relationships and expand access to affordable housing options. While previous experience in delivering housing advice or supporting people facing homelessness is desirable, full training will be provided. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong time‑management and casework abilities, ensuring high‑quality customer care at all times. The contracted base for this role is The Portal in Ellesmere Port. The position is hybrid and flexible, involving a mix of office-based work, home working, visits to other council offices, and off‑site appointments such as meeting clients across the district. Further details can be found in the attached job description. Please ensure you meet the essential criteria outlined in the person specification before submitting your application.
