We are delighted to be partnering with a client based in Durham who a group of companies who are continuing to grow. They are looking to recruit an Accounts Assistant to join their existing finance team, this is a full time permanent opportunity.

Key Responsibilities:
* Sales ledger management and credit control
* Purchase ledger processing
* Reconciliation of bank and supplier statements
* Handling and reconciliation of cash
* Assisting with nominal ledger reconciliations (or working towards this)
* Supporting the Accountant with month-end tasks to enable the production of monthly management accounts
* Working collaboratively with the wider finance team
Qualifications:
* Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Accounts Assistant.
* Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
* Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
* Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
* A genuine interest in being part of a team and growing with the company.
* Willingness to learn and adapt to a dynamic environment.
* A team player who is happy to support and help train junior members of the team.
* Organised, proactive, and able to work well in a fast paced environment.
