About The Role
Newly Qualified Plumbing Engineer
Location: Guildford
Contract: Full-time (40 hourweek, including some evenings, weekends & bank holidays)
Salary: Up to £30,550 (includes location allowance) increasing to £33,400 with experience + £3,000 guaranteed bonus in your first year

At HomeServe, were looking for enthusiastic and motivated Newly Qualified Plumbing Engineers (NVQ level 2 equivalent) to join our growing team. Youll work alongside experienced plumbers, gain real-world experience in customers' homes, and benefit from training at our state-of-the-art academy.

About The Candidate
What youll need:
* Level 2 NVQ in Plumbing (or equivalent qualification)
* A full UK Driving Licence (with fewer than 6 penalty points)
* Strong customer service skills
* Some hands-on experience in a domestic plumbing environment
* A positive attitude and a willingness to learn
Training & Career Support:
Well give you the tools and support to build your skills and confidence:
* Weeks 12: Induction
* One-on-one Health & Safety training with SEC
* Weeks 314: Buddying
* 12 weeks shadowing a Senior Engineer
* Learn processes, procedures, and best practices
* 8 hours of coaching per week
* Weeks 1518: Supervised Practical Work
* Youll start working hands-on, under full supervision
* Focus on technical ability, customer service, and process compliance
* Weeks 1926: Supported Independence
* Lowered job targets to give you time to grow
* 8 hours coaching per week
* Week 27 onwards: Business as Usual
* Performance monitored, with ongoing coaching and support as needed
