We are currently seeking an experienced MOT Tester to join a leading automotive service centre in Pontypridd. Responsibilities
* Perform all aspects of MOT testing in adherence to government standards
* Ensure vehicles are tested efficiently and accurately, maintaining safety compliance
* Communicate clearly with customers regarding testing progress, results, and necessary repairs
* Support customers with advice on vehicle repairs and service requirements
* Diagnose and carry out associated repair and service work when required
* Assist with workshop operations, maintaining high standards of safety and quality
* Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth workflow and customer satisfaction
Requirements
* Active Class 4 and Class 7 MOT testing licences
* Valid UK driving licence with minimal points
* Qualifications such as IMI/NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair are desirable, but experienced vehicle mechanics with an active MOT licence will also be considered
* Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team
* Excellent attention to detail and commitment to high safety standards
* Flexibility to support workshop duties beyond testing as required
