Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting SEND children safely and efficiently while ensuring compliance with all traffic regulations. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, as well as the ability to manage basic vehicle maintenance- check engine oil levels, water levels and tyre pressures
Duties
* Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and functionality.
* Maintain accurate records of mileage, including times, locations, and any issues encountered.
* Perform routine maintenance on the vehicle, including checking fluid levels and tyre pressure.
* Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
* Provide excellent customer service during school runs.
Skills
* Excellent driving skills with a D1 driving classification (automatically on driving licence if passed driving test before 1st January 1997)
* Proficiency in English for effective communication with team members and customers.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: £12.21 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 15 per week
Licence/Certification:
* Category D1 Licence (preferred)
