Mechanical Engineering Lecturer Location: BirminghamSalary: £45-50 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Role: The candidate will need experience with Level 2 Engineering unit 206 City and Guilds. The learners will need to complete making a piece of metal to specification namely filing it drilling holes and cutting a shape out of the centre of it; therefore, general workshop skills are needed. Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver lectures and practical sessions in mechanical engineering.
* Develop and update curriculum content in line with industry standards.
* Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
* Support student projects and research initiatives.
* Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to quality assurance processes.
Qualifications Needed:
* Relevant qualification in Mechanical Engineering
* Teaching qualification is desirable.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Experience Requirements:
* Prior teaching experience in further education or higher education settings.
* Industry experience in mechanical engineering is an advantage.
