Position Title: Requirements Engineer

Location: Solihull

Key Responsibilities
1. Lead the setup and configuration of a new requirements management tool
2. Define and implement a scalable requirements structure, including:
3. Templates
4. Unique ID conventions
5. Naming standards
6. Requirement categories
7. Traceability models
8. Manage the migration of legacy Excel-based requirements into the new system, ensuring high data quality and consistency
9. Develop and deploy efficient workflows for:
10. Requirement creation
11. Reviews and approvals
12. Change management
13. Establish and maintain end-to-end traceability across:
14. Electrical
15. Software
16. Controls
17. Calibration
18. Testing
19. Support compliance with ISO 26262 and ASPICE, ensuring robust documentation and process governance
20. Deliver training and onboarding for engineering teams, driving adoption of the new system
21. Act as a champion for requirements engineering best practices across the organisation
About You
22. Experience with requirements management tools (e.g., DOORS, Polarion, Jama, etc.)
23. Strong understanding of systems engineering and requirements lifecycle management
24. Experience working in automotive, motorcycle, or safety-critical environments
25. Proven ability to build processes and systems from scratch
26. Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
27. Passion for improving engineering efficiency and quality
