As part of the Central & European Team, the PR & Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies that enhance brand visibility, manage relationships with media and sponsors, and ensure effective coordination of communication channels. This role plays a key part in aligning local marketing efforts with the company’s global strategy.
Communication Strategy & Branding
* Develop and implement integrated marketing and communication strategies to support business objectives.
* Ensure consistent brand messaging across all channels, aligning with corporate identity and values.
* Manage both internal and external communications to maintain transparency and engagement.
Public Relations & Media Management
* Build and maintain strong relationships with media outlets, journalists, and external agencies.
* Write and distribute press releases, articles, newsletters, and other PR materials.
* Develop and execute PR campaigns to enhance brand visibility and reputation.
* Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments to adapt strategies accordingly.
Digital Marketing & Content Management
* Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, social media campaigns, and email marketing.
* Plan and execute content strategies that engage target audiences and drive brand awareness.
* Ensure optimization of digital content for SEO and audience engagement.
Stakeholder & Partnership Management
* Manage relationships with media, agencies, sponsors, and other external stakeholders.
* Identify and develop sponsorship opportunities to enhance brand exposure.
* Coordinate partnerships that align with business goals and reinforce corporate positioning.
Budget & Performance Tracking
* Oversee and manage the communication and PR budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
* Measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives using KPIs, analytics, and reporting tools.
* Continuously refine strategies based on data-driven insights.
Internal Communication & Cross-Functional Collaboration
* Work closely with HR, Sales, and Operations teams to align communication strategies with business needs.
* Ensure internal messaging fosters a strong corporate culture and employee engagement.
* Develop internal newsletters, webinars, podcasts and any additional internal Spring GDS media channels, or other communication tools to enhance information flow within the company.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, Journalism or a related field.
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and communications, preferably in a PR agency.
Skills
* Proven experience working in an international environment.
* Strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and brand management.
* Proficiency in marketing tools and platforms (CRM, social media, email marketing tools).
Personal Qualities
* Ability to communicate effectively in English, both written and spoken.
* Spanish, French or Dutch is nice to have
* Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work under tight deadlines.
* Creative mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
