Japanese logistics company currently are looking for a Sales Administrator to provide support and services to their Sales team.
Main Tasks and Responsibilities
* Sales activity assistance
o Work both in the office and in the field to promote sales activities effectively.
o Increase sales in the field in line with the Company’s target areas such as foodstuff and pharmaceuticals by utilising skills and knowledge in those areas.
o Assist Senior management to determine the range of services to be sold, contribute to the development of sales strategies mainly for Japanese companies and the setting of sales targets.
o Maintain regular contact with customers to identify their operational needs and new requirements.
o Liaise with the Operations department to ensure timely deliveries to meet customers’ demand.
o Prepare quotations by collecting relative costs and required information.
o Correspond adequately to enquiries.
o Handle customers’ complaints proactively and achieve their satisfaction by providing appropriate solutions and follow ups.
o Improve service quality by analysing current procedures and feedback from third parties.
o Communicates with subsidiaries to arrange all shipments are delivered safely as customers’ demands, using all the knowledge of the company's Network.
o Prepare reports and analysis in Japanese requested by Company's HQ in Japan.
o Be aware of international variances in cultural and legal issues pertaining to sales.
o Keeps up to date with services and competitors
* Marketing
o Compile and analyse sales figures, prepare proposals for marketing campaigns and promotional activities and undertake market research.
o Liaise with the company's Group to promote their company brand worldwide.
o Cooperate with Business Development Managers to produce marketing materials.
o Promote services over social media and the company’s website, in a way that is consistent with the Company’s brand and social media strategy.
* Others
o Provide bi-lingual support as and when required.
o Provide ad-hoc assistance to HHG section if required.
o Provide ad-hoc support to Line Managers.
Qualifications
* Bi-lingual skills. (English and Japanese)
* More than 3 years' prior experience as a sales administrator in the Freight Forwarding industry.
* Freight Forwarding business knowledge, especially in the field of food and pharmaceutical shipment.
* A great sense of self-motivation, ambition and determination.
* Ability to achieve desired results both individually and as a part of a team.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
