Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and residents. Duties
* Perform general cleaning tasks such as dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces.
* Clean and maintain guest rooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure they meet established cleanliness standards.
* Change bed linens and towels, ensuring fresh supplies are always available.
* Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
* Provide exceptional customer service by responding to guest requests and inquiries with professionalism.
* Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and personal items.
* Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and notify management when stock is low.
* Follow health and safety regulations while performing cleaning duties.
Requirements
* Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred.
* Experience in a hotel environment is advantageous but not essential.
* Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests.
* Basic cooking skills are a plus for assisting in kitchen areas when required.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
