Overview
Field Service Engineer role at GRUNDFOS in London. Hands-on engineer with passion for solving technical challenges and delivering exceptional customer service. Solid experience in both electrical and mechanical engineering with a strong understanding of pump systems.
Responsibilities
* Programming and optimizing our products to the customers’ requirements.
* Disassembling, inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing pump systems.
* Advising customers on system improvements and preventative solutions.
* Handling service and warranty matters, with support from technical teams.
* Preparing and submitting detailed service reports.
* Supporting installations and commissioning projects.
* Executing maintenance services under SLAs.
* Providing feedback and input for repair quotations.
* Continuously developing technical skills and mastering service tools.
* Promoting safety through hazard awareness and risk assessments.
* Acting as a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders and external customers to deliver outstanding service and support.
What you need to apply
* Industry experience or a similar technical environment.
* Strong knowledge of pump technology.
* Technical education in electrical or mechanical engineering.
* Experience with diesel engines (desirable).
* A proactive, adaptable mindset with strong time management.
* Excellent communication skills with customers and internal teams.
* A customer-first attitude and a drive for continuous improvement.
* Digital literacy and familiarity with service tools and systems.
