You will be working in the Building Services OU based in London in where we are responsible for creating healthy workplaces, comfortable homes and efficient facilities that improve people’s lives. We are currently looking for a Mechanical Senior Projects Manager who will be responsible for the project, effectively and professionally lead the day-to-day operational management on large scale multi-disciplinary commercial projects within the Skanska JV building construction team.
As the Mechanical Senior Projects Manager, you will:
1. Ensures full compliance of design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.
2. Add value to the design process by challenging solutions, methods, and techniques where appropriate to deliver works within the contract programme, improve build ability and reduce whole life costs.
3. Develop and administer controls on the project or workplace and ensures full implementation and compliance.
4. Understand/ develop/ scrutinise/ deliver/ monitor end to end programme. Set milestones and key deliverables.
5. Active control of commercial and contractual aspects applicable to project and maintain project quality plan in full compliance with company processes.
We are looking for:
6. You are likely to have project teams working on large commercial schemes in London and in the surrounding areas, with combined package responsibility value of circa £25M.
7. Appropriate knowledge and experience to manage multiple disciplines/interfaces and work sequencing.
8. Proven track record in successfully delivering large scale MEP contracts to time and within commercial constraints.
9. Formal H&S training accreditations, minimum SMSTS proven track record in leading teams and projects.
10. Experience and Knowledge in relation to the correct testing and commissioning of a complete MEPH installation.
11. Working within the joint venture with a main contractor is preferrable.
