About the Role
To be employed in this role, you must pass an enhanced safeguarding check.
Our stores operate 24/7, offering a variety of shift patterns. Flexibility is key, and weekend work is required. We will work with you to accommodate your shifts.
Our in-store pharmacies are popular with customers. You'll need to be friendly, confident discussing personal health issues, resolving problems, and guiding customers to the right products.
Your responsibilities include assembling and processing prescriptions accurately, promoting pharmacy services like Prescription Collection and Medicines Use Reviews, supporting the Pharmacist with patient services, and adhering to Standard Operating Procedures. You will also collect prescriptions from doctors' surgeries on behalf of customers.
We support your career development through accredited training to become a qualified Medicine Counter Assistant within 6 months, progressing to a Dispensing Assistant, enhancing your skills and contribution.
About You
You are friendly, organized, team-oriented, with good computer skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication. You enjoy problem-solving, helping people, and providing a great healthcare experience.
