Job Role: Respiratory/Pleural Nurse Specialist Band 6
NHS Forth Valley is seeking to appoint a Nurse Specialist to join the Respiratory team. The role involves delivering specialist nursing advice within a multi-disciplinary team, supporting high-quality care for pleural patients, and collaborating with Action on Asbestos to provide a robust Pleural service.
Key Responsibilities
1. Provide expert nursing advice to patients, relatives, and healthcare professionals.
2. Work within a national network of Respiratory/Pleural nurses supported by Action on Asbestos.
3. Coordinate and deliver clinics, manage caseloads, and contribute to service improvements.
4. Participate in policy reviews and service development initiatives.
5. Ensure compliance with PVG scheme requirements.
