Our Business Support Manager spends their time working between our Head Office and Thrislington Office/Plant Workshop based in Durham, with occasional travel to our Quarry site based in Newark. Your job will be to assist in the achievement of business objectives by providing effective administrative support to the Managing Director, and the wider senior management team within the Mining department. The Business Support Manager is the first point of contact for internal and external enquiries to the Managing Director, email and calendar management, creating reports, taking accurate minutes in senior meetings and board preparation. The Business Support Manager leads a team of Site Administrators to effectively support the smooth running of day-to-day operations at our sites/offices. The Business Support Manager works in collaboration with the Site Administrators to support the Mining team with system improvements, capturing accurate data, providing administrative support for projects and initiatives, and striving towards continuous improvement and new ways of working.
