Careermakers Recruitment are looking for a Semi Skilled Aluminum Fabricator for our ever-growing client based in the heart of Normanton, WF6.
Key Responsibilities
* Fabricate and assemble aluminium and steel components.
* Carry out MIG work (and TIG where applicable)
* Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* Check completed work meets required standards for quality and durability.
* Follow internal production processes and update progress where required.
* Work closely with colleagues and supervisors to ensure smooth project completion.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in aluminium fabrication (experience with steel desirable).
* Skilled in MIG welding (TIG desirable but not essential).
* Ability to read and work from technical drawings.
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
* Flexible, reliable, and willing to work overtime when required.
* Good teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
* Confident in taking on new challenges.
* Hands‑on and practical, with an eye for detail.
* Team player with a positive, can‑do attitude.
* Looking to build a long‑term career in the signmaking industry.
* Commitment to health, safety, and compliance in everything you do.
Working hours will be Monday – Friday 7am – 3.30pm, with a pay rate of £13.50 per hour depending on experience.
