This is a rewarding opportunity to play a crucial role in supporting pupils with challenging behaviour, helping them to engage with their learning and thrive. What You'll Be Doing: * Working closely with class teachers and support staff to provide targeted support to individual pupils and small groups with SEBD. * Employing de-escalation techniques and proactive strategies to manage challenging behaviour effectively and maintain a calm, positive environment. * Fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment where every child feels valued and understood. * Supporting pupils' social and emotional development, helping them build resilience and self-regulation skills. * Assisting with the preparation of resources and materials tailored to individual needs. * Providing valuable, detailed feedback on pupil progress and behaviour to the class teacher. Who We're Looking For: * A candidate with a genuine passion for working with challenging children. * Someone with proven experience in managing complex behaviour in a school or similar setting. * An individual with exceptional patience, resilience, and a proactive approach. * A strong communicator with the ability to build rapport and work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team. * Experience in a PRU or ALN setting would be highly advantageous.
