Our client, a values-led and high-achieving secondary school in York, is seeking a committed and passionate Religious Education (RE) Teacher to join their humanities department this September. This is a full-time position, teaching RE at Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, with opportunities for KS5 depending on experience. Key Responsibilities: * Teach RE to students at Key Stages 3 and 4 (and potentially KS5). * Deliver engaging lessons that promote reflection, discussion, and understanding of world religions, ethics, and philosophy. * Foster critical thinking, tolerance, and debate in a respectful classroom environment. * Contribute to the planning and development of a forward-thinking RE curriculum. * Participate in school-wide initiatives, including SMSC (spiritual, moral, social and cultural) development.
