Hospital Manager – 12-Month Maternity Cover in York, UK
Up to £61,800 per annum (DOE)
We are looking for a skilled professional with a clinical qualification, ideally a RMN, to join our neurorehabilitation team. This role focuses on leading a multidisciplinary team and delivering high-quality, tailored care for individuals who have experienced brain injuries. You will be supported by an excellent team and play a key part in providing expert neurorehabilitation and positive outcomes for service users.

Responsibilities
* Lead and manage the overall operations to ensure delivery of high-quality, tailored care and treatment
* Guide and support a multidisciplinary team to achieve Brainkind's strategic objectives
* Ensure full compliance with relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
* Actively market the service to prospective commissioners and referrers to develop business opportunities
* Lead and implement changes to align with business needs
* Provide professional leadership and management support to ensure performance standards are met
* Manage location budgets, capital, and revenue
* Oversee recruitment, employment practices, and staff training initiatives
* Foster exceptional customer responsiveness among all stakeholders
* Develop and implement a business development plan for service growth
* Represent Brainkind at conferences and marketing events
* Manage on-call systems and out-of-hours team support
* Ensure service users are involved in their care plans and receive regular reviews
* Maintain financial accounting systems for Brainkind and service users
* Uphold safety and welfare needs, meeting legislative standards
* Ensure environments and equipment meet safety standards and support independence for service users
* Conduct quality audits and drive continuous service improvements
Qualifications
* Current live clinical qualification with PIN and no practice restrictions
* QCF (NVQ) Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care, or equivalent, or willingness to work towards
* Strong understanding of statutory requirements, legislation, and quality outcomes
* Experience in managing high-quality residential services
* Ability to guide a multidisciplinary team towards positive outcomes
* Experience in performance management and staff development
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
* Flexibility to work unsociable hours as needed
