BillingeMedical Practice is seeking a committed and motivated Salaried GP to join our supportive and forward-thinking team. This is an excellent opportunity to work within a stable, well‑led, and ambitious training practice that has undergone significant positive transformation since December 2023.

We are a 3‑partner practice with a Good CQC rating, exceptional patient feedback, and a clear vision to deliver safe, high‑quality, compassionate care to our community.

We welcome applications from both newly qualified and experienced GPs. We have strong clinical leadership, structured support, and a genuine commitment to professional development, ensuring that all clinicians are supported to build confidence, develop their skills, and progress in their careers.

This role is ideal for a GP who values teamwork, professionalism, and continuity of care, and who wants to contribute meaningfully to a practice that is actively building something exceptional.

BillingeMedical Practice is a well‑established NHS practice serving a loyal and appreciative patient population. Since December 2023, the practice has undergone significant positive development, resulting in improved patient experience, strengthened governance, and clear clinical leadership.

Main duties of the job The Role

You will provide high‑quality General Medical Services in accordance with GMC standards, delivering safe, effective, and patient‑centred care.

Responsibilities include:

Routine and urgent clinical consultations delivered within safely structured clinics

15‑minute standard appointment times, supporting safe clinical decision‑making and continuity of care

Telephone and digital consultations, appropriately allocated within the session structure

Reviewing results and clinical correspondence with protected administrative time

Prescribing safely in accordance with national and local guidance

Contributing to practice clinical governance, audit, and quality improvement activity

Supporting trainees and contributing to the practice’s established training environment

Session design

15‑minute appointments as standard

Protected administrative time within each session

Manageable workload supported by an experienced multidisciplinary team

Appropriate clinical support from GP Partners and senior clinicians

You will be employed under a BMA‑aligned salaried GP contract, with terms and conditions no less favourable than the BMA model contract.

Is fully GMC registered and on the GP Register – or due to qualify

This role will suit a GP who is professional, reliable, and committed to delivering high standards of patient care within a supportive but accountable team environment

Disclosure and Barring Service Check This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
