About The Role
Are you ready to take your culinary career to the next level? We’re on the lookout for a Junior Kitchen Manager to join our vibrant Butlin's Buffet Department in beautiful Bognor Regis!
In this exciting role, you’ll report to the Senior Kitchen Manager and play a vital part in leading a dynamic team of up to 40 passionate individuals. At Butlin's, making our guests smile is at the heart of everything we do, and you’ll ensure that they remain the central focus of all operational decisions.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Resource planning and recruitment to build the best team.
* Monitoring guest experiences and developing action plans for continuous improvement.
* Delivering food cost budgets through effective menu planning and cooking to high standards.
* Ensuring food hygiene standards and health and safety compliance.
As a role model for Butlin’s unique way of working, you’ll inspire your team to deliver exceptional experiences every time. You’ll have the chance to lead and develop skills in our main buffet restaurant, serving guests who have booked a half-board dining package.
About You

You should be:

* Confident in leading a team to maintain high standards in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
A Level 3 Food Safety qualification is essential, and you’ll be responsible for managing margins, controlling costs, and ensuring health, safety, and hygiene standards are met.

Typical working hours are five days over seven, covering 40 hours per week, with no split shifts. You’ll also be part of a bonus scheme, and typically finish by 8 PM!
