Hays Non‑Qualified Finance are recruiting for a Payroll Assistant.
You’ll be joining a well‑established organisation in South Wales, playing a key role in ensuring employees are paid accurately and on time. You will work collaboratively across departments to maintain transparent,pliant and reliable payroll processes.
Key responsibilities include:
• Ensuring the monthly payroll is processed accurately and on schedule, including preparing, reviewing and updating all necessary data
• Calculating employee pay, deductions and statutoryponents such as SMP, SSP and pension contributions
• Maintaining accurate employee records, including handling starters, leavers, pay adjustments and payroll‑related queries
• Assisting with payroll reconciliations, reporting, audit requirements and month‑end activities
• Managing payroll documentation and data securely, ensuringpliance with data protection standards
Length of assignment: Temp - TBC
Hybrid policy: On-site initially
Ideal start date: Immediate
Hours: Fulltime
