Audit Senior - Watford
Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Audit Senior to join our team. You will play a key role in leading audits, managing teams, and supporting the development of junior staff.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead audits under the guidance of a Manager or Principal.
* Manage on-site audit teams.
* Plan audits, perform completion procedures, and prepare management letters.
* Assist in supervising and providing work-based training for junior staff.
* Support Audit Managers with delegated tasks, including planning, completion, and file reviews.
Client Portfolio:
* Mid-corporates and SMEs.
* Larger groups, including UK subsidiaries of overseas parents.
* Specialist audits: Pension Schemes, Charities & Not-for-Profit Organisations, Solicitors, FCA regulated entities.
Ideal Candidate:
* ACA or ACCA qualified.
* Minimum 2 years' audit experience within a UK accountancy firm.
* IT competent and familiar with computerised accounting packages.
* Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work on own initiative.
* Strong communication skills.
* Able to prioritise effectively and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Employment Details:
* Full-time, Monday to Friday (hybrid working).
* Salary: £40,000-£50,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
* Must have the right to work in the UK.
