Fire, Health and Safety Manager

As part of a small team, the Fire, Health and Safety Managers are responsible for the efficient operation, planning, and development of the Fire Safety Services and supporting the Health and Safety Team across the Trust, ensuring that these functions are carried out to nationally agreed and recognised standards for the benefit of patients, visitors, and staff.
Main duties of the job
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a suitably qualified, experienced, and motivated Fire, Health and Safety Manager to join the Compliance, Fire and Health and Safety Team within the Estates & Facilities Directorate at London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust.
As part of a small team, the post holder will be responsible for the efficient operation, planning, and development of fire safety services and support health and safety services across the Trust, ensuring these functions meet nationally recognized standards for the benefit of patients, visitors, and staff.
The post covers all London North West University Healthcare NHS Trust premises, with the base split between Northwick Park & St Mark's Hospital and Ealing Hospital. The post requires working and traveling across all Trust premises.
Reporting to the Associate Director of Estates & Facilities (Compliance, Fire and Health and Safety), the successful applicant will have extensive knowledge and experience in fire and health and safety matters, be highly motivated and organized, and capable of delivering advice.
