Security Technician
Location Bracknell
This role is shift based
Our purpose is to make the world more sustainable by building trust in society through innovation. As a Security Operator you will contribute to this by providing active cyber security monitoring of the network and management infrastructure.
Your role will provide 24x7x365 support for sensor and network technologies. This includes responsibility for monitoring, triage, fault rectification, and day-to-day management of the SOC’s security enforcing devices both in and outside normal working hours. This involves detecting and responding to faults, liaising with field engineers for hardware faults, and escalating major incidents.
Your Transferable Skills And Experience
* Experience of service operations.
* Understanding of network technologies such as switches and routers.
* Good communication skills.
* Ability to develop positive working relationships with people and teams across the organisation to achieve business objectives.
* Experience of event or infrastructure monitoring.
You must be willing and eligible to undergo security clearance for this position.
