About the role
1. Providing targeted pastoral support to pupils who require additional emotional, behavioural or attendance support
2. Acting as a trusted adult for students, offering daily check-ins and ongoing mentoring
3. Supporting behaviour for learning and helping students regulate and re-engage with education
4. Working closely with SLT, safeguarding leads, SEND staff and families
5. Contributing to wellbeing initiatives and pastoral interventions across the school

The ideal candidate
11. Experience in a pastoral, mentoring, youth work, LSA or safeguarding-focused role
12. Confident supporting students with SEMH, behaviour, attendance or engagement needs
13. Calm, resilient and relationship-driven
14. Comfortable working across KS3–KS5
15. School-based experience is desirable but not essential
