The Role
Lead Daily Infrastructure Operations
You'll oversee and support our network, server, and cloud infrastructure at the European Tour Group headquarters, acting as a key escalation point for the wider team.
Support Live Event Technology
From wired and wireless networking to server, security, and event staging support, you'll be a central figure ensuring flawless delivery of the technical infrastructure our tournaments depend on.
Deliver Technical Projects
You'll help design, document, implement, and support technical projects—both onsite and remotely, working closely with internal teams and contracted third‑party suppliers.
Keep Our IT Engine Running
When not at events, you'll support the service desk with desktop support, break/fix issues, and ongoing maintenance of corporate and event equipment.
What You'll Be Doing
Maintain and support network, server and cloud infrastructure, acting as an escalation point within the team
Provide technical support for event‑based networks (wired, wireless, security, server)
Lead onsite escalation working alongside third‑party tech providers
Produce and update technical documentation for project delivery
Install, configure and support infrastructure solutions remotely and on site
Provide third‑line support to clients and manage technical contractors
Assist in the assessment and development of corporate and event assets
Work with event staging teams to capture and deliver technical requirements
Support technical consultancy and audit services
Contribute to service desk operations and desktop support when required
What You'll Bring
5+ years' experience as an Infrastructure Support Engineer or similar
Strong knowledge of Office 365, Entra ID, Azure and AWS
Solid understanding of networking and security best practices
Experience with network security appliances and access control platforms
Proven technical project management experience
Skilled in deploying and supporting enterprise LAN/WLAN infrastructure
Hands‑on experience with wired/wireless network configuration and troubleshooting
Understanding of fibre optic and copper cabling best practices
Knowledge of industry health & safety standards
Experience with HPE Aruba platforms (Aruba Central) is advantageous
Excellent communication, customer service and collaborative skills
A flexible, solutions‑focused approach with a "can‑do" attitude
Willingness to travel throughout the event season
Previous event‑based technical experience
