Role Overview: As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with class teachers to support learning in the classroom, offer one-to-one and group interventions, and help create an inclusive and engaging environment for all pupils. Role Responsibilities: Assist in the preparation and delivery of engaging lessons and learning materials. Support pupils academically and emotionally, both in and out of class. Help maintain a well-organised, safe, and supportive learning environment. Provide support for pupils with varying abilities and learning needs. Collaborate with teaching staff to monitor and track student progress. Requirements for Primary Teaching Assistant: Previous experience as a Primary Teaching Assistant (TA) is desirable. A relevant Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous. A patient, adaptable, and caring attitude towards children. Good communication and teamwork skills. Have an up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years barring any unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
