Applicants should meet the following criteria:
Be registered as a pharmacy technician on the General Pharmaceutical Council register.
Have knowledge of the General Pharmaceutical Council Codes of Professional Conduct, Ethics, and Performance, and their implications for practice.
Hold Maths and English GCSEs at grades A to C or equivalent functional skills level 2 evidence.
Be proficient in the use of a PC, including relevant software and systems.
Have experience in ordering and dispensing medicines.
Duties of this role include:
Supporting the delivery of an excellent clinical, operational, and governance-based medicine management service.
Procurement and receipt of medicines for the hospital.
Top-up and distribution of medicines across hospital areas in collaboration with the pharmacy team.
Managing stock of medicines within the hospital.
Providing dispensing services for medicines as required.
Ensuring accurate and timely charging.
