MAT cover vet role with Cogges Vets, Oxfordshire

Cogges Veterinary surgery is a small animal practice based in Witney, Oxfordshire, with an experienced team of seven vets, including certificate holders in Ophthalmology, Internal Medicine and Diagnostic Imaging. The practice operates in a nurse‑led environment and seeks a veterinary surgeon to work collaboratively with the team to deliver high‑standard patient and client care across a varied caseload.
As a Primary Care Veterinary Surgeon, you will collaborate with the wider practice team to deliver high standard patient and client care across a varied caseload. You will continue to develop clinical skills and interests while sharing knowledge with colleagues, contributing positively to the clinical culture of the practice. You will be an integral member of the clinical team, delivering excellent care and supporting the ongoing development of those around you.
Hours of work
We are looking for someone to cover a role that is between 30‑40 hours per week, working 3‑5 days, with 1:6 sole charge weekends for which you will receive time back in lieu. We can offer some flexibility, however we need coverage on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday at a minimum.
