Finance Manager required for a high-growth,wealth management firm (Central London – Office Based)
3-4 days a week in office (flexible)
£60,000 – £70,000 (Depending on expereince) + 10-20% bonus + benefits
We are partnering with a fast-growing, independent high-net-worth wealth management business with ambitious expansion plans over the next few years. The firm provides bespoke financial services to private clients, families and professional intermediaries and is building a reputation for excellence, discretion and performance. With significant growth in assets under management forecast, finance will play a critical role in supporting this next phase of scale.
As Finance Manager, you will sit beneath the CFO, taking ownership of internal reporting, analysis and governance while the business transitions from an outsourced to an in-house finance model. This role offers exceptional exposure to senior leadership and a clear pathway to build and lead a finance team as the business continues to grow.
Reporting directly to the CFO, you will act as a key commercial and technical finance partner, strengthening financial control, improving insight, and supporting strategic decision-making across the business.
Key Requirements:
* Fully qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
* Trained in practice (ideally Top 20), with exposure to SME audits and accounts
* Minimum 3 years’ experience in a finance role
* Demonstrable interest of Wealth / Asset Management industry
* Strong academic background from a reputable university
* Proactive, commercially curious mindset
* Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical capability
Key Responsibilities:
* Production of monthly management reporting with detailed variance analysis and performance commentary
* Delivery of commercial financial analysis, scenario modelling and forecasting relating to AUM growth, net flows, pricing and client retention
* Development and maintenance of MI dashboards, KPIs, margin and revenue analysis in Excel
* Acting as the primary finance owner for regulatory returns
* Managing external advisors for tax and statutory reporting, with future ownership of the audit process
* Review of monthly payroll, providing analytical assurance and governance
* Oversight of accounts payable, bank accounts and revenue reconciliation
* Providing ad-hoc commercial analysis to senior leadership
* Supporting general finance administration including benefits, insurance and employment-related processes
