The Role
This is a rare opportunity to join a greenfield technology function as an individual contributor, shaping the foundations of a future Business Systems team while delivering hands‑on impact from day one. You’ll take full responsibility for AMS’s key business systems, including CCH, Xero, QuickBooks, our CRM platform, and client onboarding/KYC tools. Your mission: ensure stability, drive optimisation, and enable scalable, data‑driven growth.
Responsibilities:
* Own core business systems across finance, CRM, and client lifecycle
* Ensure platforms are secure, compliant, and high‑performing
* Lead upgrades, releases, testing, and change management
* Partner with stakeholders across Accounts, Audit, Tax, Advisory & Operations to streamline processes
* Drive workflow optimisation and standardisation across newly acquired entities
* Define and deliver the systems roadmap, including new platform selection and implementation
* Manage vendor relationships and ensure value for money
* Identify automation opportunities and support AI‑enabled efficiencies
* Align systems with data architecture to unlock reporting, insights, and profitability analysis
* Lay the groundwork for a future Business Systems function
Essential experience Required:
* Strong background managing business systems in Professional Services or similar regulated environments
* Hands‑on expertise with CCH, Xero, QuickBooks
* Proven track record delivering system improvements and implementations
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and vendor management skills
* Ability to translate business needs into practical, scalable system solutions
* Strong understanding of process improvement and workflow optimisation
Desirable:
* CRM experience (Dynamics, Salesforce, HubSpot)
* Exposure to onboarding/KYC platforms
* Familiarity with automation tools (Power Platform, RPA, workflow tools)
* Understanding of data architecture and reporting ecosystems
* Awareness of AI‑driven process optimisation
