Get to Know This RoleThe Experiential Marketing Manager, or as we call them, Brand Experiences Manager is responsible for representing the brand plans and objectives out in the field. This person is the face of the Sierra Nevada brand to our end consumers, our distributor partners in the field, event partners, and key accounts and will help to identify, manage and execute best-in-class events and experiences that communicate our brand positioning and current brand campaign. They will work closely with the Director, Brand and the full brand team to assign resources to event opportunities that will drive commercial growth. The field-based lead is charged with identifying growth opportunities in coordination with the brand management group to build on our integrated go-to-market plans and then help deliver those against those opportunities resulting in increased brand awareness, affinity, trail and word-of-mouth while building long-term pull of our products in their assigned territory. 1. Lead and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Brand, Sales, Connected Commerce and Communications to deliver engaging and impactful events in the assigned Region.
2. Operate within the scope of current priority markets and make suggestions for the most impactful ways to use in-person opportunities to drive awareness, consideration and purchase goals
3. Own and optimize team sponsorship relationships with West Coast based entities. Work to protect our community relationships in our backyard and increase our brand affinity, relevance and purchase intent amongst consumers
4. Make budget recommendations to the Director, Brand for how best to optimize event sponsorship dollars, owned experiential pop-ups and team relationships.
5. Ensure brand standards are adhered to and programs are being executed; provide insights on brand growth strategies to distributors and sales teams in the market
6. Liaise with Sales Team to identify field opportunities that might influence distributor partners and/or consumer market mavens
7. Streamline and execute our product donations program to build community with priority stakeholders
8. Must be willing to work non-standard hours, including nights and weekends

9. Bachelor's Degree in marketing or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
10. or any combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved
11. 6 years experience in progressively responsible event leadership roles required
12. Direct experience in beer, wine or spirits preferred
13. 4 years management or leadership experience required
14. Prior sales experience or interaction preferred
15. Ability to challenge the status quo and pursuing new ideas and ways of thought
16. Strong leadership skills, detail-oriented, organized and self-motivated
17. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with continuous innovation
18. Driver's License with a driving record free of any major violations in the last three years upon hire required
