Job Title: Assistant Store Manager
Salary: £29,500 per annum (+OTE)
Hours: 40 hours per week | Any 5 days out of 7 (Monday-Sunday)
Location: Byfleet

Responsibilities
* Coach, support and motivate team members to achieve strong performance
* Provide regular feedback and recognise positive contribution
* Help create a positive, inclusive and engaging working environment
* Full responsibility for the store in the Store Manager's absence
* Opening and closing procedures and daily operational tasks
* Oversee customer enquiries, call handling, up selling and administration
* Ensure high standards of cleanliness, safety and security are maintained
* Keep accurate records and ensure compliance with company policies
* Deliver consistently excellent customer service
* Support achievement of store targets, sales growth and cost control
* Monitor local competitors and market activity
* Take ownership of key performance indicators and financial contribution
Key Skills / Experience
* Experience supervising, leading or managing at least one team member
* Experience acting as the senior person on shift (e.g. supervisor, team leader, key holder or duty manager)
* Confidence making day-to-day operational decisions independently
* Background in a customer-facing environment such as retail, hospitality, leisure, call centres or facilities management
* Strong communication and people-management skills
* A proactive, solution-focused approach
* Ability to prioritise tasks and remain calm under pressure
